Set of 6 specific heat metal cylinders. Includes copper, lead, brass, zinc, iron and aluminum. Each of the six metals in this set has the same volume and measures 38 mm (1.5") long and 9.5 mm (0.4") in diameter. Each cylinder has a hole drilled at one end for suspension.
Excellent for physics classrooms. Density metals have a wide range of educational applications for all levels, including investigation of density, specific heat, and exploration of specific gravity.

Due to the nature of raw metals, some oxidation or corrosion may occur due to moisture and storage. Simply remove the oxidation to make the item look like new. These density metals are designed for use in educational environments and are not manufactured with ultra-high precision machining. Tolerances on stated dimensions may vary by ±5% (although they are generally much tighter).
