Set of 6 metal cylinders of equal mass. Includes copper, lead, brass, zinc, iron and aluminum. Each of the six metals in this set vary in length, from 5 cm to 19 cm, but have the same mass of 100 g and a diameter of 16 mm (0.6"). Each cylinder has a hole drilled in one end for suspension.
Excellent for physics classrooms. Density metals have a wide range of educational applications for all levels, including investigating density and exploring specific heat and specific gravity. The game includes a complete instruction manual that provides information on density, specific gravity, and specific heat, and includes student research activities with capture sheets.

Due to the nature of raw metals, some rust or corrosion may occur due to moisture and storage. Simply remove the rust to keep the item looking like new. These density metals are designed for use in educational environments and are not manufactured with ultra-high precision machining. of +/- 5% in the dimensions indicated (although they are generally much tighter).
